What a sweet little girl you have. My five year old will not allow me to put his hair in little ponytails anymore and I guess that is a good thing. I must accept that I never had my baby girl.
And by the way, you look great with or without exercise!
That P90X is causing a sensation with all of my friends here in Aspen and I look with envy at their ripped bodies. I am trying to do it myself but the results are much slower.
I'm a first time mom who resigned from teaching to stay at home with my angel. In February 2009, God blessed my husband and I with THE best little girl in the world, our Bug! She's a miracle, and our life could not feel more full. I have the greatest husband in the world. He's an amazing father and has supported me tremendously. We met in college and other than a few little bumps and bruises, have been together ever since. Our two little Cavalier King Charles Spaniels add to the excitement (not always a good thing). My life is so full of God's blessings. My goal is to not take any of it for granted.
This blog was created to detail the ups and downs, the triumphs and struggles of being a first time mom. I never imagined my title of MOM would mean so much to me and how this little person could change my world so dramatically--for the better. I'm kind of a T.M.I. type of person in real life, so you will get the WHOLE truth on topics I've added to my repertoire:nursing, poop, hair loss, boobs, hemmoroids, war scars, c-sections, making baby food, diaper changing, post-baby body, sleepless nights, boogers, vaccines, milk production, tantrums and meltdowns (both baby's and mom's), more poop and boobs, and most importantly God's love and grace as He walks with me through all of it. If you're not ready for the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth--this is not the blog for you. As they say, "If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen!" :-) Yes, mommyhood is tremendously difficult at times, and gross at others....but it is the best thing that has ever happened to me! This blog will chronicle the wide range of experiences of the most important job in the world--a mom (sorry dads, I'm biased).

She is so cute! And I am so jealous she sat on Santa's lap. My daughter didn't want anything to do with him!
I LOVE the antler photo! She is just too cute!

Hello Mindy,
